Just when you thought you had caught up with technology - everyone is talking about iPhones!
You may have heard the term "smartphone" being used by friends and family, but like many are secretly wondering exactly what a smartphone is, well, you're not alone. An iPhone is the most popular smartphone on the market and made by Apple.
So how is a smartphone different than a mobile phone, and what makes it so smart? In a nutshell, a smartphone is a device that lets you make telephone calls, but also adds in features that you might find on a laptop such as the ability to send and receive e-mails, surf the Internet or type documents. It doesn't stop there. You can use it as a webcam and see the person you are talking to. You can also add 'apps' (applications) to smartphones that will do just about anything from lighting up a dark room to helping you find your way around Tesco!
If you decide to get one - let us show you how to make the most of all it's features!
